My story

Six years ago in 2020 I met my first dog, Willow. I quickly noticed how the dry Arizona desert air was drying to her paws and coat, so I started looking for products that were safe and gentle for her. That search led me to a realization: all the products I liked that were dog safe were often safer and less toxic than the ones made for humans!

That discovery sent me down a path of making my own products — first for Willow, then for myself. Soon I was handing out homemade chapstick and balms to friends, who'll tell you I've always been abundant with homemade gifts and sharing new products for people to try. 


The core of my little apothecary is my love for skincare that is good for you and of the earth, and the ability to express my creativity. I create products that smell good, feel good, and that are trustworthy.

Why we love tallow

Tallow has been used for centuries as a natural moisturizer and healing tool for skin, especially in desert civilizations. Our tallow is sourced from 100% grass-fed cattle, raised ethically and free from hormones and antibiotics which results in tallow that’s pure and rich in vitamins that nourish the skin.
